Canton is located just south of Gassco Inc.  Only about a 10 min drive, Canton is the headquarters to some of the largest companies in the US like Reebok, Compushare and Dunkin’ Brand (Duncan Donuts) who employ many local residents of the city.  It is also home to the Massachusetts Division headquarters of the Salvation Army. The Canton Viaduct built in 1835 is one of the two oldest surviving multiple arch stone railroad bridges still in active mainline use in the United States. The name “Canton” comes from the early belief that Canton, China was on the complete opposite side of the earth (antipodal).
