Quincy

Quincy is a city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts and is part of the Boston Metropolitan area. Its nickname is “City of Presidents.” Quincy is the birthplace of former U.S. Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams, as well as statesman John Hancock, fourth and longest serving President of the Continental Congress. It was named after Colonel John Quincy, maternal grandfather of Abigail Adams and after whom John Quincy Adams was also named.

During its history Quincy has been known as a manufacturing and heavy industry center, with granite quarrying dominating employment in the 19th century and shipbuilding at Fore River Shipyard and Squantum Victory Yard rising to prominence in the 20th century. The recent decades have seen a shift in focus to several large employers in the financial services, insurance and health care sectors of the economy.

Quincy is located less than 15 miles from the Gassco offices and less than 10 miles south of Boston.  Although Quincy is the 9th largest city in the state with a population of over 90,000, Quincy has a small town urban feel.  Gassco is proud to offer heating and cooling repair services to the residents and business.

Gassco Inc. offers services such as air conditioning repair, heater and furnace repair, commercial HVAC service and maintenance, walk in cooler/freezer repair as well as plumbing services.  Check out our pages to see what we have to offer!
